To get to the church, one goes by the old wash-house, surrounded by flowers and ornamental plants. The church, which is situated on the village square, has recently been renovated. The ancient confessional has been turned into a display cabinet of artful liturgical objects and saintly relics including those of Margaret Mary Alacoque.
Magnificent murals painted by Edward Krug in 1876 adorn the walls, and are often admired by visitors.
